About this tool

Professional invoices without the software

An invoice generator lets freelancers, consultants and small businesses bill clients without buying accounting software or signing up for a subscription. Add your business name and logo, the client's details, an invoice number and dates, then list what you're charging for as line items — the amounts total up automatically as you type, and a live preview shows exactly how the finished invoice will look before you download it.

When you're ready, export a clean, professional PDF invoice that's ready to email or print. You can apply a percentage or flat discount, add a tax rate, and write payment terms or bank details in the notes. Common currency symbols are supported with proper number formatting, so the invoice reads naturally whether you bill in dollars, rupees, euros or pounds.

GST invoices for India

Indian businesses can switch to the GST invoice format, which adds your GSTIN and the client's, an HSN/SAC code and GST rate for each line item, and a choice between intra-state supply (splitting the tax into CGST and SGST) and inter-state supply (a single IGST line). The tool calculates the tax per item, applies any discount to the taxable value, and produces a compliant-looking tax invoice — useful for registered sellers and service providers.

Crucially, everything happens in your browser. Your business and client details, the amounts, and even your uploaded logo are processed entirely on your device and embedded into the PDF locally — nothing is uploaded, stored or shared. That makes the tool safe for confidential billing and means there are no accounts, no per-invoice fees and no limits. Fill in the form above to see your invoice build in real time, then download it free.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is this invoice generator free?

Yes — completely free with no sign-up, no watermark on your invoice, and no limit on how many you create. You can add your business and client details, line items, discount and tax, then download a clean PDF ready to send. The only branding is a small 'Created with CrispToolHub' line in the footer, which keeps the tool free.

Can I create a GST invoice for India?

Yes. Switch to the GST Invoice tab to add your GSTIN and your client's, an HSN/SAC code and GST rate per line item, and choose intra-state (which splits the tax into CGST + SGST) or inter-state (IGST). The totals and the PDF update automatically to show the correct GST breakup, producing a tax invoice in the standard Indian format.

Is my invoice data saved or uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything you type stays in your browser — the live preview and the PDF are generated entirely on your device, and nothing is sent to any server. Your business details, client information and amounts are never stored or transmitted, which makes the tool safe for confidential billing. Close the tab and the data is gone.

Can I add my company logo?

Yes. Upload a PNG or JPG logo and it appears at the top of both the live preview and the downloaded PDF invoice. The logo is processed locally and embedded directly into the PDF — like everything else, it never leaves your browser.

What currencies are supported?

The standard invoice lets you pick from common currency symbols including the rupee, dollar, euro and pound, with appropriate number formatting. The GST invoice is fixed to Indian rupees, since GST is an Indian tax. Amounts are formatted with thousands separators so totals are easy to read.
