Working in Singapore means a specific money checklist: gentle income tax, a big CPF contribution that leaves your pay before you see it, and 9% GST on most of what you buy. The tools on this page are built for exactly those things, so you can check a take-home figure or a GST total in seconds without signing up for anything.

The Singapore income tax calculator is the headline tool. It uses IRAS 2025 resident rates, applies earned income relief, and shows your CPF contribution and net pay clearly, with a resident and non-resident option. For day-to-day numbers, set the GST calculator to 9% to add or remove Singapore GST, and use the invoice generator to produce a GST invoice as a PDF. If you want the full breakdown of how the bands and CPF work, read our Singapore income tax guide.

For building wealth, the budget calculator, emergency fund, savings goal and compound interest calculators help you plan around your take-home pay. The salary tool converts an annual package into monthly, weekly and hourly pay, which is handy when you compare offers or work out a day rate.

Job hunting or handling paperwork? The CV builder makes a clean, ATS-friendly CV with no watermark, and the PDF tools cover the documents around work passes, contracts and applications. Every tool is free, mobile-friendly and private. Tax rules, CPF rates and GST can change, so treat the results as estimates and confirm anything important with IRAS or your employer.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How is income tax calculated in Singapore?

Singapore tax residents pay progressive income tax on chargeable income using IRAS rates. The first $20,000 is tax-free, then bands rise from 2% to a top rate that reaches 24% for the very highest earners. Only the income inside each band is taxed at that band's rate, so the effective rate is well below the top marginal rate for most people. The Singapore income tax calculator applies the bands and earned income relief automatically, and it runs in your browser so your salary stays private.

How much CPF comes out of my pay?

If you are a citizen or permanent resident under 55, you contribute 20% of your ordinary wage and your employer adds 17%, for a combined 37%. The Ordinary Wage ceiling is S$8,000 a month from January 2026, so contributions are capped above that. CPF rates step down with age, and non-residents do not contribute. The calculator shows your CPF share as a separate line so you can see your true take-home.

What is the GST rate in Singapore?

GST is 9%, raised to that level in January 2024. Use the GST calculator and set the rate to 9% to add GST to a net amount or extract the GST already included in a gross figure. GST is a consumption tax you pay when you spend, separate from income tax, so it never appears as a payslip deduction.

Can I build a CV for Singapore jobs here?

Yes. The CV builder creates a clean, ATS-friendly CV you can download as a PDF or Word file with no watermark and no account, which suits applications across Singapore. The PDF tools handle the documents around work passes and applications.

Are the tools free with no sign-up?

Yes, every tool is free with no account and no daily limit. Your salary, CPF and savings figures stay on your device because the calculators run entirely in your browser.
