This Privacy Policy explains how CrispToolHub ("we", "us") handles information when you use our online tools, including the online ruler, compass, and financial calculators (the "Tools"). In short: the Tools are designed to run entirely in your browser, and we collect as little as possible.

Information we collect

We do not require an account and we do not ask for your name, email, or any personal details to use the Tools. Measurements you take with the ruler or compass are processed locally on your device and are never transmitted to us.

Local storage

To make the Tools more useful, we save a few preferences in your browser's local storage — for example your ruler calibration and your light/dark theme choice. This data stays on your device, is not sent to any server, and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Device sensors

The online compass may request access to your device's motion and orientation sensors to display a live heading. Sensor readings are used only to render the compass on your screen in real time; they are not recorded or shared. You can decline this permission and still use the manual compass mode.

Analytics & cookies

We aim to keep the Tools lightweight and privacy-respecting. If we use any privacy- friendly, aggregate analytics in the future, it will be limited to anonymous usage counts and will never identify individual users. We do not sell data and we do not use advertising trackers.

Children's privacy

The Tools are general-purpose utilities and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
