About this tool
Stay organized through your whole job search
A serious job search means dozens of applications, each at a different stage. Without a system it's easy to lose track of who you've heard back from, which interview is next, and which roles deserve a follow-up. This free job application tracker gives you one private place to manage it all — no spreadsheet wrangling, no account, and no data leaving your device.
Add each job with the company, role, link, date applied, salary range, priority and notes, then move it through the pipeline as things progress: Applied, Phone Screen, Technical Interview, Final Interview, Offer Received, Offer Accepted, Rejected or Withdrawn. Switch between a Kanban board that shows every stage at a glance and a sortable list for a denser overview, and filter by status, priority, date range or a quick search.
The stats dashboard turns your activity into insight — your response rate, interview-conversion rate, average time to hear back, and a breakdown of applications by stage — so you can see what's working and where to push harder. Export a CSV anytime to back up your data or move it to another device, and pair this with the job search resources to find new roles and the resume match tool to check your fit before you apply.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is the job application tracker free?
Yes — completely free, with no account and no limits. Track as many job applications as you like. The tracker runs entirely in your browser and stores everything locally on your device, so there's nothing to sign up for and nothing to pay.
Where is my application data stored?
Everything stays in your browser's local storage on your own device (under the key rc:job_tracker). Nothing is uploaded to a server. That also means your data is tied to this browser — use Export CSV to back it up or move it to another device, and Import CSV to restore it.
How are the response and interview rates calculated?
Response rate is the share of applications that moved past 'Applied' to any reply (phone screen, an interview round, an offer, or a rejection). Interview rate is the share that reached at least one interview stage (phone screen or beyond). Average time to response is the average number of days between your applied date and when an application first moved to a responded status.
Can I import applications from a spreadsheet?
Yes. Export a CSV first to see the exact column format (company, title, url, dateApplied, status, salary, priority, notes), match your spreadsheet to those headers, and use Import CSV. Rows with an unknown status default to 'Applied' and an unknown priority defaults to 'Medium'.
Does sharing the tracker share my applications?
No. The Share button copies a link to the empty tracker tool, never your data. Your applications never leave your device, so the only way to move them is the CSV export/import you control.
