How do I make a WiFi QR code?
Choose the WiFi tab, enter your network name (SSID), select the security type (WPA/WPA2, WEP, or none for an open network) and type the password. The tool builds a standard WIFI: payload that modern iPhone and Android cameras recognise — your guests just point their camera at the code and tap 'Join Network', with no need to type the password. Everything is generated locally, so your password never leaves your device.
What does the error-correction level do?
Error correction lets a QR code still scan even if part of it is dirty, damaged or covered by a logo. Level L recovers about 7% of the code, M about 15%, Q about 25% and H about 30%. Higher levels make the code denser (more squares) but more robust. M is a good default; choose H if the code will be printed small, on packaging, or placed behind a logo.
