What do the Fast, Balanced and Best options mean?
They select the AI model size. Fast uses a compact, quantised model that downloads and runs quickest with slightly softer edges. Balanced is a good middle ground for most photos. Best uses the full-precision model for the cleanest edges on tricky subjects like hair, at the cost of a larger download and more processing time.
What kind of images work best?
Photos with a clear subject — a person, product, animal or object — against a reasonably distinct background give the cleanest cut-outs. Very low-contrast scenes or fine, wispy details like flyaway hair are the hardest cases; switching to the Best model quality usually helps.
